Baby Shower Games

Hosting a baby shower is a fun experience, but it can be difficult to think of games! Here are a few great ideas:

What's in your Purse? Create a list of 10-15 items. Whoever has the most items in their purse wins a prize!

Steal the gift? Seat everybody in a circle. Guests will roll a pair of die to get doubles (3 rolls per turn) If you roll doubles you select a prize from the middle of the circle. Once the prizes are all taken, you begin to STEAL the prizes. When the timer is up you win the prizes that you have!

Guess the food! - Remove the label from 10 jars of food and each guest will have to guess the food based on the color! No tasting allowed!

Give The Perfect Bridal Gift

The bride and groom have a lot of planning to think about - but the guests have just as much planning! It can be difficult to select the right gift for the newlywed couple. Select a gift that is both thoughtful and useful - give the gift of handpainted glassware. Select a unique vase or wine glasses that can be displayed in a china cabinet or used for every special occasion.
Find a unique designer that will create these pieces based on any design that you choose. That way you can match the tastes of the bride and groom and your gifts will match their home decor. A lovely piece painted with tropical designs is a lovely gift idea!

Hosting a Child's Birthday Party

Your child is one year older - how do you celebrate? You can always have family and friends over for cake and gifts, but if it is a milestone age (such as 5) then you should celebrate with a party! Parties at local kiddie arcades and restaurants are a joy - but having a party at an art studio is a classic enjoyment for all involved. Children love to express themselves through art, boys and girls. Ask your child if they would like to have an ART party and chances are they will scream "YES". Select an art studio that caters to children as well as adults so that both parents and children have a great time and have amazing artwork to bring home in the end!

Planning Your Wedding

There are many steps in planning your wedding:
1: Select a Date
2: Select a Location
3: Select a THEME!!
Step 3 can be the most fun if you have a wild imagination. Your wedding theme might seem difficult to nail down, but once you have it right - you can use it to the max.
Think about what your interests are (Yes, ladies, you must consider the grooms as well!) - Las Vegas (Poker!), butterflies, fairy talels, beach - etc.
Once the theme has been determined you can start planning your decor, menu and favors!

Valentines Day - A Night to Remember

Many couples treat Valentines day as just another day, but others like to pull out all of the stops. Make Valentines day 2009 a day to remember by hosting a Valentines Bash. Host this party at your home (Or rent a place if you are feeling adventurous) and decorate with all things that symbolize LOVE. Invite couples (or singles to pair!) to this bash and serve chocolate covered strawberries and champaigne out of romantic flutes. Set up a photo station where guests can take photos that you will later give out. Romantic frames can be given as favors to serve as a keepsake for years to come!
