Signature Grand Wedding Photography Ideas

How will you remember your big wedding day? By photos, of course! These days, however, professional photographers can cost a fortune and many brides and grooms simply cannot afford them. Modern weddings are now planned on a budget and that budget may not allow for costly photographers.

Fear not! There is still a way to have a ton of wedding pictures without breaking the bank as well!
  • Have a written plan. Don’t assume that your designated photographer will know where and when to point and click. Make a list of all of the people, poses, and events you want to immortalize on film. This will help make sure that important guests, like the father of the bride, and significant milestones, like the exchanging of the rings, aren’t absent from your beach wedding album. One idea is to group the shot list by specific event, starting with the rehearsal and continuing through the reception.
  • To prevent the subjects from getting dwarfed by the expansive surroundings, make sure the camera zooms in as close as possible (without blurring). For a majority of the shots, have the photographer stand in front of the sun to minimize the shadows and silhouettes that can detract from the subjects. If you do want a couple of silhouette shots (which can be very romantic), do the opposite.

    Wedding Variations: Including Your Pet

In a recent turn of bridal events, many brides and grooms are incorporating their favorite pet into their ceremony and reception. It's only normal, of course, as these days most pets are considered to be family. There are many things to consider when planning a wedding with a canine or other pet in the bridal party. While no one can blame you for wanting your special friend in attendance, here are a few things that can help the day run smoothly for all involved.

Most importantly, when selecting the ceremony and reception sites, the couple needs to make sure that the establishments they choose will welcome their furry friend at the event. Some venues have restrictions on pet attendance. It is also important to plan ahead for the pet’s behavioral needs. Select a trustworthy person to be in charge of the pet, to ensure that he is fed, watered, walked and given appropriate chances to have those much needed bathroom breaks, preferably before the ceremony. Some extra training may be necessary for your pet and the attendant who has been chosen as the guardian.
